    Samsung targets luxury mobility with battery, display supply for Genesis GV90

    Samsung is strengthening its push into the luxury mobility market by supplying key components for Genesis’ flagship GV90, with Samsung Display’s premium OLED screens and Samsung SDI’s large battery cell powering the high-end electric SUV. The collaboration marks an expansion of cooperation between Samsung and Genesis, as both companies seek to capitalize on growing demand for premium electric vehicles (EVs) and sophisticated in-car experiences. Samsung Display is supplying two OLED displays for the GV90 — a 24.6-inch central Cinematic Display and 13.2-inch screens mounted on the backs of the front-seat headrests. The displays began shipping this month, according to the company. The centerpiece is the expandable 24.6-inch OLED display positioned at the center of the vehicle. It can operate as a 23.6-inch screen while driving, showing navigation, driving information and media. NC, Shengqu Games sign deal to bring Aion 2 to China

NC, the video game company formerly known as NCsoft, entered a partnership with China's Shengqu Games to publish its MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) Aion 2 in China, the Korean company said Friday. The two companies signed the agreement Wednesday at a ceremony in Shanghai attended by NC co-CEO Kim Taek-jin and Shengqu Games CEO Feng Cheng. NC and Shengqu Games have partnered since 2009, when the original Aion launched in China. Under the agreement, Shengqu Games will handle the Chinese publishing of Aion 2. The company opened an official Chinese website for the game Wednesday and unveiled its local service name, Eternal Tower 2. Further details, including a launch schedule, will be announced later, NC said. LG unveils 750 bil.-parameter frontier AI model K-EXAONE 2.0

LG AI Research said Friday it has released K-EXAONE 2.0, Korea's largest artificial intelligence (AI) model with 750 billion parameters, to the open-source community Hugging Face. The model is intended for submission to the Korean government's National AI Foundation Model project, which aims to foster foundation models developed from scratch using domestic technology. The 2.0 model has more than tripled its parameter count from the 1.0 version that LG AI Research previously submitted for the project. LG AI Research also adopted the Apache 2.0 license for K-EXAONE 2.0, allowing unrestricted commercial use. The model scored an average of 70.1 across 24 benchmark evaluations, more than 10 percent higher than the 63.3 recorded by K-EXAONE 1.0. SK Group chief purchases shares of SK hynix for 1st time

SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won purchased a total of 3,620 shares of SK hynix Inc. in the open market, the company said in a regulatory filing Thursday, marking the first such move from the executive. The total value of shares purchased by Chey amounts to around 4.8 billion won (US$3.35 million), with the chipmaker's closing price at 1.32 million won on Thursday. Hyundai E&C eases payment terms for Hillstate Hoeryong Station Parkview
