SIWA to host community bazaar

The Seoul International Women's Association (SIWA) and the diplomatic community will host the annual community bazaar at the Grand Hilton hotel in Hongeun-dong on Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The 32nd bazaar will bring unique handicrafts, foods, wines, antiques, clothing, entertainment and other treasures from around the world.
Known as a great cultural experience, the bazaar is also an excellent shopping opportunity. Other events include a silent auction and a lucky draw with prizes that include flight tickets, hotel stays and other gifts and prizes.
The bazaar has been held since 1978, and has raised more than 150 to 200 million won each year, assisting over 40 different charities with food, fuel and living supplies.
Founded in 1962, SIWA is one of the largest international women’s organizations, with members from more than 50 countries, including Korea.
Memberships have risen continuously to a peak of 400, offering a place where women from all over the world can meet, find friends, share their knowledge, culture and interests while help
