Actress Lee Bo-young, left, and actor Ji Sung / YonhapNewlywed star-couple Ji Sung and Lee Bo-young are expecting an addition to their family, according to Yonhap News Agency.Lee's management agency, Will Entertainment, announced that the actress is 10 weeks into her pregnancy, the report said. Ji Sung, who was born Kwak Tae-geun, is a popular actor."Lee will take a vacation from acting due to her pregnancy, the agency said.The celebrity couple got married last year in September, after dating for several years. They publicly acknowledged their relationship in 2007.

Gangnam to create 'tourism-friendly' dance clubs

The district of Gangnam in southern Seoul will designate 10 dance clubs as tourist-friendly venues, a district official confirmed Monday.Dubbed “Masterpiece Clubs,” the venues will aim to offer a luxurious atmosphere free from unsavory activities such as prostitution, said Kim Yong-man, who heads the district’s food and sanitation department.The Gangnam District said in a release that the initiative will run through February and that the clubs will be listed in tourism brochures. The clubs include Ellui, Answer, Syndrome, Vanguard, The A, Octagon, Arena, Cubic and Juliana.Kim said the main criteria for selecting the clubs were that they did not have a history of prostitution, and that they had open floors rather than private rooms.“We will enforce strict laws on unsavory clubs, but will support if the clubs operate in a healthy way,” the district said in a release.The Masterpiece Club initiative will kick off with an official ceremony on Wednesday.

The Mexican stumbled and fell back, giving Choi the opportunity to pounce. The referee quickly called the fight. Choi jumped on the fence to celebrate his victory, his tenth straight victory since June 2010.

Singer apologizes after telling fans to 'shut up'

Nam Tae-hyun / Korea Times fileA performer in a newly-formed boy group apologized Monday after telling fans to “stop talking” during a performance in Seoul over the weekend.  Nam Tae-hyun of Winner, a boy group formed this year by YG Entertainment, made the remark Saturday during a concert at Olympic Park that also included better-known acts Psy, Ailee, Girl’s Day and Sista.  The incident occurred after the group’s first song, as bandleader Kang Seung-yoon was addressing the audience. It was then that Nam made his outburst, reportedly yelling, “We are talking here!” Nam issued an apology through YG Entertainment on Monday.  “It was only meant as a casual comment,” Nam’s statement said. “I apologize if I somehow came off as intimidating. “I was careless. I realize how significant each word I say is to the public. I will keep that in mind from now on.”
