Choi Doo-ho claims first UFC win with vicious strike

Korean mixed martial artist Choi Doo-ho defeated Mexico’s Juan Puig on Saturday in an efficient knockout that lasted no longer than 18 seconds.

The 24-year-old’s UFC debut came during the Fight Night 57 event held at Frank Erwin Center in Austin, TX.

Choi wasted no time getting into attack mode, promptly landing a right punch on Puig’s chin. The Mexican stumbled and fell back, giving Choi the opportunity to pounce.

The referee quickly called the fight. Choi jumped on the fence to celebrate his victory, his tenth straight victory since June 2010.
