As Seoul slips into summer, as the city begins to feel hotter and more crowded by the day, there's no better time to learn about Korea's rules for the pool. This guide brings together the experiences of Korean and foreign swimmers in Korea to help you navigate like a local, from registration and etiquette to a few recommended places to dip your toes. Why swimming in Korea feels confusing Compared with many countries, swimming in Korea comes with a noticeably high entry barrier. Fees can be steep, free-swim hours are limited and registration systems are often designed with Korean-speaking, tech-saavy users in mind. “Even Koreans struggle to find information about pools, free-swim slots and lessons. 'The Roundup' tops 10 mil. admissions in Korea

The show's Korean organizer, Showbeyond Entertainment, said, Friday, “Fuerza Bruta Wayra in Seoul” will be held from July 20 to Oct. 10 at the FB Theater, a temporary structure for the show that is being built in front of Seoul Express Bus Terminal in southern Seoul. A memorial service for late entertainer Song Hae is held on Songhae-gil, a central Seoul street dedicated to the veteran emcee, Friday, the day of his funeral. It is a medium for exploring gender and expressing LGBTQ pride, as well as a form of entertainment.The 34-year old scholar, who is also a visual artist and an independent researcher, said he didn't know that his journey to this country would last this long when it started in 2013.After obtaining bachelor's and master's degrees in journalism in Brazil, Canario came here to get a Ph.D. in visual culture at Korea University. Yoon posthumously awards top cultural order to TV host Song Hae

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Park Bo-gyoon confers the Geumgwan Order of Cultural Merit to late Song Hae on behalf of President Yoon Suk-yeol at the Seoul National University Hospital, Wednesday.
