Student charged over bathroom peek

A man in the port city of Busan has been charged after allegedly peeking into a neighbor’s bathroom after climbing gas pipes.Busan Jin police said on Sunday the college student, surnamed Kim, 21, was walking along a street around midnight Saturday when he heard the sound of water from the second floor of a villa.He then allegedly climbed up to see if a woman was taking a shower.He was caught at the scene after a neighbor reported him to police.Kim was charged with housebreaking.

With the help of witnesses, Park spotted and caught him.“As a daughter’s father and station agent who is responsible for protecting passengers, I thought I should catch the criminal,” Park told police.Police arrested the man on charges of public nudity.

Footage from a blackbox camera inside Kim's car shows Jeon hanging on the bonnet. / YonhapBy Lee Min-hyungA man in Gimje, North Jeolla Province, was arrested Friday after allegedly driving with another man on his car bonnet in a road-rage incident.The man, surnamed Kim, 34, got upset when the victim, surnamed Jeon, 48, drove between two lanes in front of him on Wednesday night, according to Gimje Police Station. Police said Kim then blocked Jeon’s way after repeatedly blowing his horn and overtaking Jeon’s car.But when Jeon got out of the car to complain in front of Kim’s car, Kim suddenly accelerated.Kim is suspected of driving his car for 140 meters with Jeon on the bonnet.Jeon was not seriously injured.“I did this because the car in the front was driving between two lanes, which made me angry,” Kim told police.Kim was charged with violating the Law on Punishment of Violent Acts.

Breaking: Korea reports one more death from MERS with no additional case

Korea reported an additional death from Middle East Respiratory Syndrome on Sunday, bringing its death toll to 32.However, the number of people diagnosed with the potentially deadly disease continued to stand at 182 as the country reported no additional infection case overnight, according to the Ministry of Health and Welfare.The deceased was a 55-year-old patient, whose identity was withheld for privacy reasons.Ministry officials said the death marked one of the rare cases with the deceased having no existing health conditions.Out of 32 MERS-related deaths, 29, or 90.6 percent, involved people of old age or those with existing health conditions, such as diabetes or cancer, that were apparently worsened by MERS.With the latest MERS death, the fatality rate of the disease in the country climbed to 17.6 percent, still lower than the over 40 percent tallied globally until the outbreak here.Out of the 182 people diagnosed with the disease so far, 59 still remained hospitalized with 15 of them currently in unstable conditions, the ministry said.So far 91 people previously diagnosed with M
