Police charge 'mall slapper' with assault

Daejeon Seobu police booked the 41-year-old without detention after questioning her at the station on Sunday. She was charged with assault. The woman, whose identity hasn’t been revealed, told police that she became angry when the store didn’t accept her return of a 500,000 won ($460) winter jumper because of stains. She admitted her misconduct to the police. Video footage taken by a witness shows the woman becoming hysterically angry at the women’s fashion store. In the video, she is seen yelling at employees and throwing store equipment ― including a computer and an iPad ― on the floor.
