 Kim Kyoung-do By Choi Kyong-ae Two years ago, Kim Kyoung-do decided to go to Ulleungdo, an island off the east coast of Korea, to work as curator for the Dokdo Museum in the local county office.“Back in June 2013, my contract to work as a curator for the National Folk Museum of Korea located in the Gyeongbokgung palace was terminated. Cho Yong-gi, the founder and pastor emeritus of the Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul.Cho Hee-jun, 49, former CEO of the church-affiliated local daily Kookmin Ilbo, has been ordered to pay child support for his son who he had with the former news anchor-turned-politician. Cha filed a paternity claim in 2013.On Wednesday, the Seoul Family Court ruled in her favor, ordering Cho to pay 276 million won ($240,000) in retroactive child support and 2 million won ($1,740) each month until the son becomes an adult in August 2022.“Cho offered financial support for Cha to move to Hawaii and give birth,” the court said in its ruling. The committee said Tuesday that its board of directors selected the new head of the tourism body during a meeting at the Lotte Hotel, Seoul, Friday. “The directors agreed that Park is the most suitable person to contribute to the development of the nation’s tourism industry beause he has a diverse background as the chairman at the Federation of Korean Industries’ special committee for tourism and has led the conglomerate as a leading businessman,” the committee said in a press release.The panel said that Park will lead its campaign to promote the Visit Korea Years of 2016-2018 in cooperation with local businesses.“He is also expected to boost the sagging tourism industry by attracting more Chinese and Japanese tourists, as he is currently serving as chairman of the Korea-China Friendship Association and leading the organizing committee for the Korea-Japan Festival 2015 in Seoul to be held in September,” it said.
