Comprising the five former members of Loona ― Hyunjin, Yeojin, Vivi, Gowon and Hyeju ― Loossemble parted ways with its previous agency to unite under the new name, which combines "Loona" and "Assemble," and signals a new beginning.

The members expressed surprise and gratitude for the enthusiastic response of fans. Hyeju noted, "I believe the results reflect the foundation we've built through our previous pursuits."

Loossemble also revealed that fans and fellow members have played pivotal roles in helping the act overcome hardships. Yeojin expressed how crucial the support of their fans was during the decision-making process.
