In memory of late sex slaves

A floral tribute is given for deceased comfort women at a memorial altar in front of the Japanese embassy in Seoul, Wednesday, during this year's final Wednesday Rally where former sex slaves under the 1910-45 Japanese occupation and civic groups have been demanding Japan's apology and compensation since 1992. This year alone, eight victims died and only 26 former sex slaves are alive in Korea. / Korea Times photo by Shim Hyun-chul
