Frozen water meters

Water gauges are frozen and ruptured at a branch of Seoul City's Office of Waterworks, as temperatures in the capital fell to minus 11 degrees Celsius, Sunday. The office received more than 100 reports of water gauges bursting since Friday. The cold spell will continue until Monday morning with Seoul reaching minus 7 degrees, but will rise above freezing in the afternoon, according to the Korean Meteorological Administration. / Korea Times photo by Ko Young-kwon
