Electricity cut at market

A merchant sells seafood by candlelight at the old building of Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market in Seoul, after the market operator, the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, cut water and electricity as some merchants have refused to move to the new building nearby. The merchants have refused to relocate, citing higher rent since 2016, and the operator cut the electricity as an ultimatum. The merchants said all their fish died. / Korea Times photo by Ko Young-kwon
