DMZ peace camp

High school students from Jeju Island pose at the Chilseong Observatory in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in Hwacheon, Gangwon Province, during the sixth annual DMZ Peace and Life Camp conducted from Aug. 4 to 7. The camp was organized by Kwangdong Pharmaceutical which distributes the island's mineral water brand SamDaSoo. It selected 35 participants who visited historic relics, cultural properties and war memorial sites in the border areas. They also enjoyed the pristine nature of the DMZ dividing the two Koreas.
