'Drop peace overture'

Rep. Lee Hye-hoon, the chairwoman of the minor opposition Bareun Party, called on President Moon Jae-in during a party meeting in Seoul, Monday, to scrap his peace overture proposed in a recent speech in Berlin to North Korea as the reclusive state is keeping up its provocations. Moon earlier suggested the two Koreas hold dialogue and discuss ways of building peace on the Korean Peninsula. / Yonhap
