NATO military chief in Seoul

Gen. Petr Pavel, the chairman of the Military Committee of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), reviews an honor guard at the headquarters of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) in Seoul, Monday. The Czech army general held a meeting with JCS Chairman Gen. Lee Sun-jin later in the day and discussed military cooperation between South Korea and NATO. He is the first NATO military committee chairman to visit South Korea. He will stay here until Thursday. / Yonhap
