A man in Gimje, North Jeolla Province, was arrested Friday after allegedly driving with another man on his car bonnet in a road-rage incident.
The man, surnamed Kim, 34, got upset when the victim, surnamed Jeon, 48, drove between two lanes in front of him on Wednesday night, according to Gimje Police Station. Police said Kim then blocked Jeon’s way after repeatedly blowing his horn and overtaking Jeon’s car.
But when Jeon got out of the car to complain in front of Kim’s car, Kim suddenly accelerated.
Kim is suspected of driving his car for 140 meters with Jeon on the bonnet.
Jeon was not seriously injured.
“I did this because the car in the front was driving between two lanes, which made me angry,” Kim told police.
Kim was charged with violating the Law on Punishment of Violent Acts.
