Teenager dies after giving birth to twins

A teenage mother in England has died 48 hours after giving birth to twins_ without having a chance to see or hold them.
Sophie Burgess, 19, gave birth to Evie and Oliver eight weeks prematurely, but she was rushed to another department because of complications.
She was found to have septicemia, and she died 48 hours later.
“It is so sad that my sister never got to hold her children, but Alex has not left their side since,” her brother Craig said. “They are out of incubators now and both seem to be doing well.”
Alex was Burgess’s partner.
