Nearly forty percent of married men in Korea have sexual affairs with other women, a survey shows.
The Korean Women’s Development Institute surveyed 2,000 men and women in July 2014 and published the result recently, a newspaper said Monday. A total of 36.9 percent of male respondents said they had sex with other women after getting married.
Only 6.5 percent of female respondents said they had sexual affairs with other men after marriage.
Of the men who had affairs, 23.6 percent said they faced legal penalties for committing adultery.
Married men and single women were the major groups that committed adultery, with the latter targeting married men.
