A Korean actor said on a late night television show people are entitled to watch some of the mild sexual contents like women’s breasts on television.

Kim Eung-soo appeared on MBC’s late night talk show Radio Star on Wednesday as one of the guests.

He recalled on the program his past experience of studying overseas in Japan for seven years. He said the life in Japan first surprised him because, unlike Korea, Japanese television programs airing after 11 p.m. were so raunchy watching half-naked women was no surprise.

Kim apparently had a fancy for that part of Japanese culture, because he argued on the show Korea should implement the same for Korean viewers.

Prior to his comment, Kim commended one of the show’s hosts Kim Gu-ra as the nation’s leading entertainment host.

He said Korea will start introducing more explicit contents on television, and Kim Gu-ra has skills to handle such delicate contents without losing his high-class charm.

Kim expressed his wish that Kim Gu-ra creates a globally popular talk show like that of Oprah Winfrey.
