Schooling years for men & women opposite in getting married
Past statistics showed that men with higher education and women with lower educaton in Korea propose better chances of getting married.

A national research result showed that men with higher education and women with lower education have better odds of getting married, sources said Wednesday.
According to a report released Wednesday, men with their education history ended before completing secondary school curriculums have lower chances to wed than those with higher levels of education.
But quite the opposite was true for women, as those with education history no further than achieving a high school diploma had the highest chances to wed among the survey group. The educational clan with the weakest odds of making it was those holding Master’s degree or higher credentials.
The research, led by Lee Sang-lim from the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affair, analyzed the Korea Labor Institute’s survey data from 2001 to 2008 participated in by men aged 26-39 and women 24-36.
The research unveiled other statistical secrets behind scoring marriage, the sources added.
Both genders are better off with permanent jobs instead of contract jobs. But the latter is more lenient with women than men as it doesn’t pose a great threat to females as it does to their male counterparts.
As to work hours, men are best served with longer hours while women benefit more from shorter hours. Whereas men working less tend to be considered not economically dependable, women under the same condition simply mean more bullets to shoot.
As for other perks that raise men’s chances to get lucky, those taller with own pads separate from parents, high stipends and rich parents were found to have the highest potential.
