The first part of the event will take place in Seoul and Gangwon Province from Aug. 10 to 13, to which lectures from prominent speakers in the field of forest conservation will be given. The event will also feature UCC making contest, essay writing contest as well as cultural activities.
The second part of the event will be held in Jakarta and Yogyakarta from Aug. 13 to 18, during which students will be able to visit forest sites and have chances of playing Indonesian traditional games, tasting local food and learning Indonesian traditional batik.
“The effect of the workshop is expected to have a greater effect as it will be held in Indonesia that is famous for abundant forest resources among Southeast Asian countries,” the AKC said.
