The Conrad Seoul is offering Purply Christmas Eve and Countdown Together 2015 parties at 37 Grill & Bar, its flagship restaurant on the 37th floor.
The Purply Christmas Eve party will start at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 24 running through 2 a.m. Dec. 25. It will be peppered with music by DJ Equinoxe and a tap dance performance by Ground Jam. A photo zone will be set up with a picture of Frank Sinatra. Snow Angel Cocktails will be served for the evening. The hotel has gifts for guests. Those who upload their photos with Sinatra on the hotel’s Facebook page will receive a room voucher. It will also award a best dresser, with a gift of a champagne brunch voucher and a Conrad bear. A Special Christmas Eve dinner is also available from 6 p.m. at the same venue. The price is 180,000 per person, including tax.
37 Grill also caters for men who are planning to make marriage proposals on Christmas Eve. The proposal package includes a chef’s special dinner with house champagne, cocktails, a flower bouquet, a cake, candles and an aromatherapy gift set. The package costs 1.1 million won, including tax.
The Countdown Together 2015 party will begin at 11:30 p.m. Dec. 31 running until 2 a.m. Jan. 1. The party will be accompanied by DJ Equinoxe, Urban Monster Band, pop vocalist Seo Guen-young. The hotel gives gifts of a room, brunch, buffet and coffee machine vouchers. Entrance is 70,000 won per person, including one free cocktail.
For those who want to spend the night after the party, the hotel offers rooms at 405,000 won. Guests can use the fitness center and a swimming pool. The room reservation comes with two year-end party tickets.

The Lotte Hotel Seoul has been voted the “Best Hotel in Korea” in 2014 by Global Traveler magazine for three consecutive years.
The Park Hyatt Seoul came in second, followed by W Seoul Walkerhill, The Shilla Seoul and the Grand Hyatt Seoul.
Global Traveler is a U.S.-based travel magazine targeting high-end business travelers, with a circulation of 109,000. More than 26,000 readers participated in the survey this year and gave their votes in 87 categories. The Lotte Hotel Seoul has been highly recognized for its facilities and rooms, as well as quality of service. In particular, the hotel’s Korean restaurant Mugunghwa received favorable reviews from the guests and tourists. It also has Pierre Gagnaire, a French restaurant with three Michelin stars.

Baseball player Oh Seung-hwan, the honorary ambassador of THE PLAZA located in Seoul, donated baseball equipment and books to the Community Chest of Seoul, a charity organization, Dec. 15. He also met with eight young baseball players from a Super Baseball Family, a youth team for training. Through the Community Chest of Seoul, the items will be sent to Maduel Social Welfare Center’s baseball team, called Super Baseball Family.
The donation is part of the hotel’s Love Sharing Project, an education support program for children from underprivileged families. The items were purchased with money raised during the Winner’s Dinner organized by the hotel together with Oh.
