Photo of Samsung chief's playful pose goes viral

A photo featuring Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong in an unusually playful shushing pose went viral online, Thursday, leaving many to guess whom he was communicating with.
The photo was taken at a local traditional market in Busan, the second biggest city in Korea, on Wednesday, where he was accompanying President Yoon Suk Yeol.
As it turned out, he was making the gesture to his fans who were overly excited to see him in person.
"All present, including the businessmen, enjoyed the market visit. The popularity of Lee Jae-yong was out of this world. People kept approaching Lee asking for photos and a handshake. Lee had to gently ask them to stay quiet because they were in the presence of the president," Lee Yong, the minister for SMEs and startups who was also at the market, explained on her Facebook page.
The chairman is the face of Samsung which is Korea's largest corporation. Lee was part of the aggressive, yet unsuccessful, bidding campaign for Busan to host World Expo 2030 during which he toured around the world to garner support for the city.
