President Lee Myung-bak exchanged gifts with U.S. President George W. Bush during a summit in Seoul Wednesday, Cheong Wa Dae said.

Bush, known to love golf, gave a golf bag with the flags of the two countries drawn on it along with a putter, the office said. ``His Excellency President Lee Myung Bak'' was engraved on the golf club.

Lee presented a digital frame with traditional mother-of-pearl inlay for Bush who enjoys watching photos of his family and acquaintances at his office.

He also handed over a bookmark with three fishes painted on it and two Korean novels translated into English.

First lady Kim Yoon-ok, meanwhile, gave Laura Bush a book cover embroidered with 10 patterns including a crane and pine tree wishing for wellness and longevity.

She also prepared a bookmark adorned with a painting of Sin Saimdang, a well-known female artist of the Joseon Kingdom (1392-1910).

In return, Laura Bush presented a silver tray specially made by the White House to her.

Bush's daughter Barbara was given a jewelry box with traditional Korean patterns on.

In their first summit at David Camp last April, Lee gave Bush a conjoined horn bow, a traditional weapon from the Goryeo Kingdom (918-1392), and received a leather jacket with his initials M.B. Lee on it.

First lady Kim exchanged a coffee cup set made of white porcelain for a set of Texas-made tea cups with flower patterns with the U.S. first lady.

Later, Laura Bush toured the National Folk Museum of Korea in Seoul with her daughter and Kim to learn more about Korea's traditional lifestyle including food, clothing and shelter, the presidential office said.
