Forty nine special delegates now visiting North Korea accompanying President Roh Moo-hyun have organized a fraternity, deputy presidential spokesman Kim Jeong-seob said in a briefing.

``They formed the fraternity which will be headed by LG Group chairman Koo Bon-moo,'' Kim said. Kim Keun-sik, ㅁ professor of Kyungnam University will play the role as liaison person while former National Assembly Speaker Kim One-ki will take the post as advisor.

The spokesman said the fraternity members agreed to engage in activities based on the outcome of their meetings in respective areas. The association is named ``Botonghoi'' after the Botong River Hotel, where they are staying while in Pyongyang.

The special delegates who accompanied former President Kim Dae-jung in his visit to Pyongyang in 2000 for the first inter-Korean summit set up the ``Juamhoi'' association named after the Juam Guest House where they stayed.

Juamhoi members have hosted dinners for North Koreans visiting South Korea and have been consulting on constructing a library in commemoration of the June 15 Joint Declaration, adopted by former President Kim and North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.
