Artontv Offers Art Thru Internet

``Artontv,'' a recently opened Internet Web site focused on art, is expected to help people explore the Korean art scene more quickly and easily.
The site will carry major art exhibition schedules, events, news, interviews with artists and other information related to the Korean art industry, all through UCC (User Created Content) or video clips.
``We realized the limit of paper-based art information guides. Living in an era where UCC is part of our lives, we came up with a Web site that offers various art-related clips,'' said Kim Kyung-a, the CEO of the Korean Arts Network International (KANI), at a press conference held in Seoul Wednesday. Kim was the former editor of the monthly art magazine ``Art in Culture.''
``Through this site, people will have the opportunity to experience Korean art more easily than before. Our aim is to broadcast Korean art all over the world,'' Kim said.
