Park, Obama hold phone call to discuss responses to NK nuclear test
President Park Geun-hye and U.S. President Barack Obama discussed possible responses to North Korea's claimed successful hydrogen bomb test, said a Cheong Wa Dae spokesman Thursday.
The phone call covered a range of pressing issues, including how the two nations can closely cooperate following Wednesday’s nuclear test, measures likely to be taken by the United Nations Security Council and a reaffirmation of the solid ROK-U.S. bilateral defense system.
Cheong Wa Dae is set to disclose full details of the discussion between the two heads of state, which began at around 9:55 a.m. and lasted for 20 minutes.
