He treated her to “tteokbogki” -- rice cake in spicy sauce -- at a restaurant. They then headed to a fitness center where Yang suggested she teach him some body-flex moves.They changed outfits and Kim could not help express his rapture at finding Yang in a tight training suit that revealed her toned physique. She joked about his feet, saying they looked cute. He quipped: “I might be showing off too much charm on your part.”Yang was 2007’s Miss Korea and gained fame after winning two titles in the 2015 Musclemania competition.

Boy band BTS from a Billboard report on Monday / Courtesy of BillboardLeading American music magazine Billboard has praised idol boy band BTS.After the seven-member band’s New York concert at the Best Buy Theater on July 16, the magazine released a report headlined “BTS Impress with Style... and Freestyle Performances at Curtailed New York Debut.”The report said the band showed “a more relaxed and freer side of themselves that made the show that much more memorable.” It said the band “freestyled” during the performance of their third song, “We On,” and described it “rare” among K-pop bands which mostly perform rigid, regimental choreography.But the band’s encore was cut short because of an online threat to members that spread on social media. Band HyukohHyukoh, an underground band that achieved sudden popularity, has signed with YG Entertainment’s music label.The four-member band signed with HIGH GROUND, a music label within YG Entertainment that is led by Tablo of the hip-hop group Epik High. The band was catapulted to fame after appearing on a popular television entertainment program “Infinite Challenge.” Since then, it has swept the top of the domestic music charts.It also performed along with Tablo and his fellow judge on the music program “Show Me the Money 4.”

TVXQ's Yunho joins military

U-Know Yunho from two-member boy band TVXQ entered mandatory military service Tuesday.According to industry sources, Yunho joined the recruit training center at the 26th Division in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, but the singer did not want media exposure and enlisted discreetly. He will have five weeks of basic training and serve for 21 months.The idol singer, also known as Jung Yun-ho, debuted in 2004 with the band's single "Hug" and has released seven studio albums.Before joining up, Yunho performed a concert, "TVXQ! Special Live Tour ― T1ST0RY," at the Gymnastics Arena in Olympic Park, Seoul, on July 13-14. He also released a special album, "Rise as God," Monday, expressing his gratitude to fans. The album has two tracks ― "Champagne," sung by Yunho, and "Rise as One" by other band member Max Changmin.Yunho also filmed web drama "I Order You" until recently and the drama will continue during his service. She also asked fans to send her web posts left by cyberbullies so she can use them as additional evidence.“I have been checking all the web posts left by cyberbullies,” said the singer from SM Entertainment. “They have long been assaulting me, my family members and my fans since I debuted (in 2007).”Last year, Suzy from Miss A reported a cyberbully, a woman in her 30s, who was booked without arrest by Gangnam police.  K-pop group EXO performs at its second solo concert in Beijing over the weekend. / Courtesy of EXOdicted  Screaming fans waving silver glow sticks and signs emblazoned with “EXO-L,” the name of Korean boy band EXO’s fan club, filled the MasterCard Center in Beijing over the weekend for the band’s second solo concert tour, EXO Planet #2 The EXO’luXion. The group began the concert with their 2014 hit “Overdose,” following it up with “MAMA,” “Wolf,” and “Call Me Baby.” They eventually surprised fans with a Mandarin version of “Love Me Right.” According to SM Entertainment, EXO performed 28 songs in the three-hour concert. “The group drew explosive responses from their fans with powerful music and a stylish performance,” a SM representative said Monday. The next stop in EXO’s world tour is Chengdu, China in August.
