EXO's KAI unable to attend Exo'luXion in Dallas KAI / Courtesy of SM EntertainmentKAI, a member of K-pop boy band EXO, will not perform at the band’s North American concert in Dallas, Texas.Concert organizer MyMusicTaste (MMT) posted a full statement, saying KAI will not be at the Dallas show due to a visa delay.It said the company is solely responsible for the delay while applying for the visas.The rest of the band will play the Dallas show on Feb. 10 without KAI.The company said, however, KAI will join them for the rest of the tour starting in Vancouver, Canada.Titled “Exo’luXion,” the band will tour North America with dates in Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Vancouver.Feb 10, 2016

'Violent Prosecutor' surges at box office Hwang Jung-min, top, and Kang Dong-won from "A Violent Prosecutor"Crime-comedy movie “A Violent Prosecutor” is at full throttle, having drawn about a million theatergoers nationwide only two days after its opening, topping the box office.The movie, with A-list male stars Hwang Jung-min and Kang Dong-won, sold over 520,000 tickets on Wednesday, followed by more than 460,000 Thursday. The opening score beat last year’s two biggest blockbusters, “Veteran” (410,000) and “Assassination” (470,000).With the Lunar New Year holiday season running from this weekend until Wednesday, the movie is expected to attract as many theatergoers again in the next couple of days.In the movie, a temperamental prosecutor, Byun Jae-wook (Hwang), is framed for murder and thrown in prison. Actress snaps up property in Seoul's 'Beverly Hills' Song Hye-kyo from movie "My Brilliant Life" (2014)Actress Song Hye-kyo has bought a pricy property in Seoul’s most-exclusive village, where some well-known public figures live.Song, 34, bought a three-story house worth 9 billion won ($7.5 million) and registered the property’s owner as her mother, according to online daily Star Today.The village, built by Hyundai Engineering & Construction in 1985, is famous for attracting wealthy public figures and has been dubbed Seoul’s “Beverly Hills.”The neighbors include NHN Entertainment chairman Lee Joon-ho, Dong-A Socio Holdings president Kang Jung-seok, major game developer NCSOFT CEO T.J. Kim, celebrity couple Kim Seung-woo and Kim Nam-joo, and actress Jun Ji-hyun and her husband.Each house has noise-proof walls and 24-hour security and is on 330 square meters of land. 'Infinite Challenge's' Noh Hong-chul back on street Noh Hong-chul from “Noh Hong-chul’s Street Show” on tvNLoudmouth TV personality Noh Hong-chul, whose celebrity career came after his debut as a video-jockey for “Dr. Noh’s Pleasure Street” on cable network Mnet a decade ago, has hit the streets again for his one-man TV show, “Noh Hong-chul’s Street Show.”Noh, 36, visited the streets of Hongdae, a popular Seoul nightspot, and talked to people with his smartphone on a selfie stick.Crowds noticed the star, who featured in MBC variety show “Infinite Challenge” from 2005 until 2014, and swarmed around him. Noh chatted with a male street dancer wearing women’s make-up, a group of drunken women and a teenage couple on a date.One street vendor complained to Noh that people were hampering her business. Noh apologized and moved on.The first episode of “Noh Hong-chul’s Street Show” airs on tvN Sunday.Noh took a break at the end of 2014 after being charged with drinking and driving.
