Park Bo-gum embraces fame amid 'love scandal'

Amid a “love scandal” involving actress Jang Na-ra, actor Park Bo-gum was rather amazed than confounded by it.

“It was amazing to see what being scandalized is like, and I have never been scandalized before,” Park, 22, said in an interview with online daily Star News.

The romance rumors surrounded Park, the star of tvN hit “Reply 1988,” which ended late last month, and Jang, who is 10 years older than Park. That they had worked together in KBS TV drama “Hello Monster” last year first stoked the talk.

“I already knew about the scandal, which has made me and her feel uncomfortable with each other,” Park said.

Park and three co-stars from the drama recently finished filming in Africa tvN’s “Youth Over Flowers,” a travel reality show in which celebrities in their 20s and 30s go on a backpacking tour of foreign destinations.
