BTS sweeps iTunes charts with new album

K-pop titan BTS is sweeping major music charts worldwide with its latest album: “Map of the Soul: Persona.”
The album is top of the iTunes Top Albums charts in dozens of countries, including the trend-leading United States and United Kingdom, just hours after it was released Friday at 6 p.m. (KST)
As of 2:00 p.m. Saturday, “Map of the Soul” had conquered the iTunes charts in at least 86 different countries, including the U.S., Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, the Philippines, Vietnam, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
The album's lead off track “Boy With Luv” was also No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 67 different countries, including the United States, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Finland, France, Greece, Indonesia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Slovenia, Russia, Turkey, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Including the lead track, the album explores stories of the inner mind, interest in the outside world and the joy of love.
