American pop star Lady Gaga, 30, and American actor and model Taylor Kinney, 35, have ended their relationship after five years.
According to American broadcaster NBC Chicago on Tuesday, the couple have parted after being engaged for 17 months. While there was no official announcement, rumors of the breakup began circulating after the singer last week appeared in Malibu without her engagement ring, on Kinney’s 35th birthday.
Lady Gaga, whose name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, stopped posting photos of her and Kinney on Instagram in April.
Kinney proposed to Lady Gaga on Valentine’s Day in 2015 and the two have since been going public about their relationship.
They attended this year’s Academy Awards and Lady Gaga posted a photo of her and Kinney kissing after the show.
“I never thought anyone would ever love me, because I felt like my body was ruined by my abuser,” the post read. “But he loves the survivor in me. He's stood by me all night proud and unashamedly. That’s a real man.”
The singer, who is on vacation, has not commented on the reports.
