Breaking Brazilian President suspended by Senate; faces impeachment trial

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff was suspended Thursday from office to face an impeachment trial in the Senate on charges that she broke budget accounting rules.

The Senate voted 55 to 22 in favor of opening a trial. Her vice president, Michel Temer, will now take power.
