A leopard has been photographed as it struggles to move a massive dead python from a tree on a South African game reserve, the Daily Mail reports.
Photographer Villiers Steyn, 33, took the photographs at the Sabi Sands Reserve on the border of Kruger National Park in South Africa.
Steyn’s pictures show the leopard trying to drag the python from where it is wrapped around a tree.
The hungry leopard then changes his method, jumping up into the tree to loosen the snake, which eventually is brought down.
“Once he took it out of reach of other predators and scavengers, he finished it off in peace and quiet,” Steyn said.
