A Japanese poster for the upcoming Hollywood action blockbuster “Terminator: Genisys” has omitted Korean actor Lee Byung-hun, who has a supporting role in the film.

The poster shows the main cast, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney — but not Lee, who plays a terminator cyborg T-1000.

Why Japan has omitted Lee is a mystery. In 2013, Japan featured him on a poster for the Hollywood action movie “G.I. Joe: Retaliation,” in which the actor, 44, played ninja bodyguard Storm Shadow. Lee and American action star Bruce Willis were on the poster.

“Terminator: Genisys,” the fifth installment of the Terminator series that began in 1984, is directed by Alan Taylor, who helmed Hollywood action movie “Thor: The Dark World” (2013), the American global-hit TV series “Game of Thrones” during 2011 and “Mad Men” in 2007.

The Terminator series depicts the struggle between the self-aware synthetic intelligence, Cyberdyne Systems Skynet, and the human military resistance led by John Connor after Skynet launched a massive nuclear missile attack.

“Terminator: Genisys” is scheduled for release in July.
