Man arrested after trying to marry cobra

An Indian man has tried to marry a cobra, believing it was a beautiful woman in a previous life.
Sandeep Patel, 27, said he could turn into a snake at night if he went into a deep trance.
He told people he had agreed to tie the knot with the reptile on Easter Saturday.
More than 10,000 people turned up at a temple for the ceremony.
But it was cancelled when police raided the temple to stop the bizarre wedding, Indian newspapers reported.
Following the incident, the crowd threatened to riot.
Police arrested Sandeep and his father for “breaching the peace.”
