Huge plane parts block road

Trucks carrying huge plane fuselage parts occupied two lanes of British three-lane motorways, causing major traffic congestion on Saturday.
Three large trucks on the M4 and M5 each carried a fuselage part as police and security vehicles escorted the vehicles. Because the vehicles and parts were several times bigger than normal, the trucks occupied two lanes instead of one.
Other drivers had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery as long lines of vehicles trailed the slow-moving trucks.
The Boeing 747 parts were en route to a scrap yard in Herefordshire, a news report said.
The traffic jam delayed many people leaving on family vacations during half-term school breaks, the report added.
