U.S. President Barack Obama has encouraged teenage students to learn more about computer programming by punching in his first Javascript instruction.

Promoting Computer Science Education Week and online computer education promoter Code.org’s campaign “Hour of Code,” Obama invited the students to the White House on Monday.

With the help of a female student, the president learned how the popular website-building program works by trying to move forward Disney animation character Princess Elsa.

“Okay, you’ve got to slow it down, because I’m an old man,” Obama told the student as she explained what he had to do.

The president eventually learned the code was “moveForward(100).”

“It turns out the concepts are not that complicated,” he said, apparently to assure the youngsters out there that understanding computers is not just for rocket scientists.
