Hollywood actors Seth Rogan and James Franco, who star in an upcoming comedy film lampooning North Korea, have gotten creative with Korean cuisine by inventing “Korean BBQ Lasagna.”
The stars of the “Interview” made the dish during
an appearance on the YouTube program “Epic Meal Time.”
The eight-minute-long clip posted Tuesday shows the duo using traditional Korean ingredients such as red pepper paste, grilled pork belly, bulgogi and kimchi for the fusion dish.
“We are going to epic-ize the Korean barbeque” said Logan as they began cooking.
“You know the difference between regular barbeque and the Korean barbeque? Korean barbeque has more Seoul,” Franco joked.
After stacking up kimchi, noodles, kimchi bacon, French fries, red pepper paste (or, as the duo calls it, Devil’s ketchup), bulgogi and pork belly, the Korean BBQ Lasagna is served. But apparently, only for the sake of pure comedy.
