Police in Espanola, New Mexico, have captured footage of what they say is a paranormal being walking through a gated area.
On Saturday night, Officer Karl Romero was monitoring surveillance cameras around the station when he spotted something walking through a gate.
Romero told KAT TV that what he first thought as a fly or a moth was actually a ghost that looked like a human.
The surveillance video shows a blurry white object “walking” across the gated area.
Romero reported the spooky sighting to his superiors.
Romero told the station that there is no way in or out of the secured area without the gates opening and an alarm sounding.
In addition, other detectives have heard strange noises and seen unexplained images in the lobby of the building, too, the report said.
But a paranormal investigator from
the Rocky Mountain Paranormal Research Society said the image was likely caused by “a small insect, possibly a small spider, crawling on the plastic case that houses the lens.”
