Student stabs teacher to death during class

A teacher has been stabbed to death in front of students in a classroom in Leeds, British media outlets reported.
Spanish teacher Anne Maguire, 61, was rushed to the hospital but later died.
The boy, 15, who allegedly is in connection with the incident was detained by teaching staff at Corpus Christi Catholic College and later arrested.
Paul Money of West Yorkshire Police said the victim received a number of stab wounds and a knife was recovered from the scene.
He added that the attack was an "unprecedented event" and schools in Leeds were "generally very safe places" to work and study
