Woman addicted to IVF: 'It's like cocaine'

A London theatre executive director, Jessica Hepburn, has spent more than 54,000 pounds on in-vitro fertilization, which has yielded no results, the Daily Mail reported.

“I’ve been caught up in a cycle of financially crippling, emotionally draining back-to-back fertility treatment,” said Jessica.

She was pregnant six times, but none of which lasted.

The doctors called it “unexplained infertility.”

With a glimpse of hope, she had to raise funds by re-mortgaging her one-bedroom flat in North London, take out personal loans, max out on credit cards and borrow from friends and family.

“But if I was offered treatment which guaranteed me a baby, I would jump at it whatever the cost,” she said.
