Drama teacher charged with having sex with teenage boy

A 26-year-old teacher has been charged with having sex with a teenage boy, the Daily Mail reported Sunday.
Kelly Burgess has been charged with four sexual offences against a teenage boy aged possibly between 13 and 17.
The teacher got to know the boy after coordinating the school's production of a musical which was staged in front of 600 people.
Burgess has been suspended from her post at her school. She is due to appear at court on March.
A spokesman for the school said, "We can confirm that a member of our staff at the school has been suspended. As the matter is currently the subject of a police investigation, it would be inappropriate to comment any further."
