A 60-year-old male nurse accused of necrophilia

A male nurse in California has been arrested after allegedly committing a sex act on a dead woman in Los Angeles in what is called necrophilia.
Alejandro Razo, 61, was arrested Sunday at Sherman Oaks Hospital, where he works.
Security guards called police after they found an "indication that a deceased patient had somehow been violated by an employee of the hospital," said LAPD Lt. Andy Neiman.
It's yet unclear how the suspect was caught, but Razo was charged with necrophilia and on Health and Safety Code violation, according to the police.
“It’s a very sensitive case because you’re dealing with somebody who is deceased, who’s a loved one of somebody, who really couldn’t even fight back, so it’s our job to fight back for them," said Neiman.
Committing necrophilia wasn't a crime in California until 2004 but it is now.
Razo faces up to three years in prison if convicted. He reportedly posted a $20,000 bail, NBC Los Angeles reported.
Sherman Oaks Hospital declined to comment on the incident.
