Bear lets himself into restaurant for pizza

A hungry bear scared off customers in a Canadian pizza shop after he walked into the restaurant and helped himself to some dinner.

The fully grown black bear let himself in through the back door of Fat Tony's in Whistler, British Columbia, on Sept. 26, reported the Daily Mail on Monday.

At around 6:00 p.m., the big 400-pound (about 181 kg) bear came into the pizza shop and leaned on its counter as he was ready to order the pizza like a customer.

“The bear stood up over the counter and grabbed a pizza off the display and started eating it,” said an employee Colin Mont. “The girls stood back and let him do what he needed to do.” The pizza is believed to have been beef and blue cheese.

The customers in the restaurant ran to the street and the staff made noise to scare the bear away. Nothing was damaged except the pizza.
