World’s shortest brother and sister announced

Guinness World Records announced the new “shortest living siblings” Tuesday.

Bridgette Jordan is 69 centimeters tall and her brother Brad stands at 89 centimeters. Moreover, Bridgette is also recognized as the “Shortest Living Woman.”

Hailing from Illinois, 22-year-old Bridgette and her 20-year-old brother suffer from dwarfism. Even so they are still rare cases. They have something called primordial dwarfism, which is associated with skeletal and brain abnormalities.

The rare disease has not prevented the sibling from living a normal life. They are both studying at Kaskasia College and while Bridgette enjoys dancing and cheerleading, Brad’s hobbies include karate, gymnastics, basketball and magic tricks.

According to a recent interview with Guinness World Records, Bridgette says, “It feels awesome. It’s great to be small.”

Meanwhile, an 18-year-old Filipino is currently the world’s shortest man measuring just 59.93 centimeters.
