Teacher becomes pregnant with her students baby

Recently, a female teacher’s secret relationship with her student in Korea shocked the nation. A similar scandal has taken place in the U.S. this time, becoming even more controversial as she has been found pregnant.

According to the AP, Jennifer Riojas, 26-year-old biology teacher at a high school in Fort Worth, Texas, had affairs with her 17-year-old student since the student was 16. Finally, her long tail got stepped on, and she had to stand before the judge.

The prosecutor in charge found hotels and motels in the town had been the shelter for the forbidden relationship. Riojas couldn’t miss out the day the student was hospitalized after getting injured in a football game.

The boy testified, “She drove me and paid everything.”

Riojas’ double life was uncovered when the boy reported her to the police after discovering she was pregnant. “I wasn’t ready to be a father,” the student said.

Riojas resigned from her position on Oct 19 and got arrested a day later. Her pregnancy was confirmed, but the baby’s biological father is yet to be known. The AP reported nothing has been decided on the custody.

10대 제자와 은밀한 관계 女교사 ‘임신’ 경악

미성년 제자와 여교사가 은밀한 성관계를 맺은 사건이 국내에서 벌어져 충격을 준 가운데, 최근 미국의 한 여교사가 10대 제자와 성관계를 맺어 임신까지 한 핵폭탄급 성추문이 벌어져 교육계가 술렁이고 있다.

미국 AP통신에 따르면 텍사스 주 포트워스에 있는 한 고등학교의 생물학교사 제니퍼 리오자즘(26)는 17세 제자(성관계 당시 16세)와 은밀한 관계를 맺어오다가 발각돼 최근 법정에 섰다.

담당 검사의 주장에 따르면 이 여성은 남자 제자 한명과 인근 호텔과 모텔 등지에서 묵으며 성관계를 맺어왔다. 심지어 이 남학생이 풋볼경기에서 부상을 당해 입원했을 때에도 병원에 찾아가 관계를 맺는 등 상식 밖 행동을 한 것으로 드러났다.

법정에서 남학생은 “모텔과 호텔에 갈 때 선생님이 직접 차를 몰고 갔으며 숙박비도 모두 그녀가 지불했다.”고 증언했다.

여교사의 이중생활은 피해 소년이 경찰에 직접 신고하면서 전말이 드러났다. 은밀한 관계를 지속하던 중 여교사가 임신을 했고, 이 사실을 학생에게 알리자 경찰에 신고한 것. 소년은 “아버지가 되는 것이 두려웠다.”고 털어놓은 것으로 전해졌다.

여교사는 지난 달 19일 교직에서 물러났으며 이튿날 체포됐다. 여교사의 임신은 사실로 드러났으나 생물학적 아버지는 아직 확인되지 않았다. 아기의 양육권 역시 정해지지 않았다고 AP통신은 전했다.
