I love Ji-sung: Kara singer

Park Gyoo-ri, a member of the five-member girl band Kara, confessed her love of Park Ji-sung, captain of the South Korean national football squad currently in Johannesburg for the World Cup finals.

In a radio broadcast on UFO Radio on Monday, Kara talked about hot athletes.

All five members agreed that footballers look the hottest.

Suddenly, to everyone's surprise, Gyoo-ri remarked, "Personally, I love Park Ji-sung."

"Park is cute looking but has awesome soccer skills and a tireless pursuit of goals. I believe that Park will rule the games in the 2010 World Cup," said the 22-year-old singer.

Each member of Kara talked about the footballers they would like to date. Seung-yeon, 22, picked center forward Lee Dong-gook, and Hara, 19, chose young gun Ki Sung-yong and Lee Chung-yong.

Nicole, 19 selected Argentine forward Lionel Messi, and Ji-young, 16, chose muscular Real Madrid winger Christano Ronaldo.

Listeners left comments after the show that they were surprised by Kara's affection and deep knowledge of soccer, given the fact that the group said they would like to date soccer players from home and abroad.

Meanwhile, Kara introduced their World Cup song, "We're With You" and its music video, last Saturday. "The track is a sweet and bright dance song, which wishes victories for the South Korean national team.
