According to a site introducing new artists, there was a party that everyone wore shoes that made them the same height. Berlin-based artist Hans Hemmert threw a party where guests wore shoe-extenders to make them all the same height of 2 meters.

The special shoes are bringing the partygoers all to a common eye level and eliminating the awkward postures of party talk between the tall and the short.

This (completely underpublished) project, entitled "Level," is from 1997, produced for the Personal Absurdities show at the Galerie Gebauer Berlin. And this picture was taken in 1997 when Berlin artist Hans threw a very special party.

키를 똑같게 만드는 파티용 신발

새로운 예술가를 소개하는 사이트에 따르면 파티에 온 사람들을 모두 같은 키로 만드는 특별한 신발이 있는 것으로 전해졌다. 베를린의 한스 헤머트는 모든 손님을 2미터로 만드는 ‘키 연장 신발’을 신는 파티를 열었다.

이 특별한 신발로 파티에 온 사람들은 같은 눈 높이에 위치해 키 큰 사람과 작은 사람이 어색한 자세로 대화하지 않아도 된다.

이것은 1997년 ‘높이(level)’라는 이름의 프로젝트에 따른 것으로, 이 사진도 1997년 헤머트가 개최한 파티의 사진이다.
