Pro baseball league surpasses 7 million in attendance

Korea's top baseball league said Tuesday it has surpassed 7 million fans in single season attendance for the first time in its 30-year history.

The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) said it topped the 7-million plateau with 47,175 fans attending four games Tuesday. It raised the total to 7,040,542 fans through 521 games in 2012.
